Stewart House is located between Kingsbury and Kenton and sits just north of the boundary between the London Boroughs of Harrow and Brent. The site enjoys a range of nearby existing services and facilities, such as schools, retail and commercial space. There are two bus stops close by and the site is near both Kingsbury underground station (Jubilee) and Kenton underground station (Bakerloo and London overground). The site is also within 50m of Woodcock Park.

The current Stewart House building has been earmarked for development for some time. The existing Permitted Development consent allows for a change of use from offices to 56 small self-contained residential units and 33 residential parking spaces. This scheme did not have room for a convenience store, any amenity space for residents or affordable housing provision. Strawberry Star seek to improve upon this with a fresh new building, designed to be beneficial to the local community and the future occupants.
